Ed Sheeran was among the famous guests at the London event. Rizzle Kicks also appeared at the premiere because of their connection to the film’s music.
Sean Connolly was there for a different reason. He was part of the film’s voice cast and had voiced several characters.

Did Sean Connolly Actually Meet Ed Sheeran?
According to Connolly’s account, his family only learned after the event that Sheeran had been sitting a few rows away from him and his family.
That detail is the most interesting part of the story. Connolly’s daughter, Erin, was also described as a Sheeran fan.
But the account does not establish that Connolly and Sheeran spoke.
It is important to separate what is known from what is assumed. The available account describes nearby seating. It does not confirm a conversation, friendship, or later meeting.
So, the safest description is that Connolly and Sheeran were at the same premiere and were seated close to each other.
